Who we are
One Scoop Store was founded in 2017 by Holly Watkins. With 15 years experience working in the fashion industry, Holly decided it was time to spread the word about secondhand clothing, and so began the One Scoop instagram.
The following quickly grew, with pieces selling out in minutes, and in Summer 2018 the web store launched to offer a wider range of affordable pre-loved clothing.
A physical store in East London followed in November 2019, which was included in British Vogue’s list of The Best Vintage Shops in London in 2020. In October 2020, One Scoop Store joined forces with British powerhouse Selfridges, with a month long pop up space as part of the department store’s Project Earth campaign.
Having bought and sold pre loved pieces since her school days (it all started with a 20p sheepskin coat in 1995!) Holly has really seen attitudes change, and believes more than ever that secondhand is the most sustainable, and the most enjoyable, way to shop.
What We Do
Holly is often asked what she looks for in selecting the collection and the answer is simple - beautiful, wearable pieces.
Holly scours car boot sales, charity shops, thrift markets and a network of private sellers to source quirky vintage, luxury designer, contemporary brands, handmade and the best of the high street.
Her aim is to offer a beautifully curated range which appeals to all budgets, and makes shopping secondhand both easy and pleasurable. Ultimately, the goal is to reduce textile landfill, reuse and recycle by giving clothes new homes piece by piece.
Elle’s Fashion Writer Daisy Murray called One Scoop Store ‘a cult re-seller for those in the know” and Who What Wear’s shopping Editor Joy Montgomery branded One Scoop “the fashion industry’s worst kept secret.”
